As team lead you don't stand on the sidelines: you work on the roof yourself while making sure the works stay on schedule, that every crew member knows what to do, and that everything is done well and neatly.
You are the point of contact on site. You keep the sites clean and orderly, solve bottlenecks on the spot and report to the project manager.
What you'll do
- Work on the roof yourself while leading a crew of 2 to 5 craftsmen
- Keep the works on schedule: set the pace and guard the daily planning
- Make sure every job is done right: quality, detailing and finishing
- Keep the site clean and orderly, plan materials and machines ahead
- Train and coach new colleagues on site
- Report progress and bottlenecks to the project manager
What we ask
- Broad experience in pitched and flat roofs, you lead by example
- You keep an overview of the site and stay calm when things change
- Calm, clear and respectful communication with your team
- Safety-minded and solution-oriented
- Driving licence B, licence C is a plus
